The 8 Parts of Speech:

Example: he, she, it, they, them
3. Verbs – action or state of being.
Example: run, jump, is, are, write
4. Adjectives – describe or give more information about nouns.
Example: tall, red, angry, three
5. Adverbs – describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs.
Example: quickly, very, well, silently
6. Prepositions – show the relationship between a noun/pronoun and another word.
Example: under, above, next to, during
7. Conjunctions – link words, phrases, or clauses.
Example: and, but, or, because, although
8. Interjections – short exclamations or expressions.
